JIS A 1451:1994 (R1999)

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method of abrasion test for flooring materials by means of the rotating disc type abrasion tester which gives friction and percussion to the test body (refer to Appended Figure). However, this standard does not apply to those materials susceptible to heavy damage caused by the abrasive brush or percussion studs shown in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, or composite materials made from such materials.
