JIS C 1512:1996 (R2016)

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies level recorders having pen response of exponential response type for recording sound level and vibration level, or either of them. This Standard also applies to a level recorder which performs recording of exponential response type by using d.c. output (effective value output) of the attached equipment and a sound level meter or vibration level meter. The necessary conditions relating with composition and test of the level recorder with attached equipment defined in this Standard is given in Annex. Unless especially specified, thses said recorders are called level recorders as a generic term.
