The standard describes a chemical method for the determination of the total solids residue, the filtrate solids residue and the residue on ingnition in all type of waters. The result of the examination gives an information about the dissolved and undissolved substance-content in water. The 3 parameters are determined by a mass comparison of the water-samples before and after the special examination.
