Threaded flanges for couplings for tank trucks according to this standard can be used for maximum working pressures up to 10 bar at temperatures up to 110 degree Celsius and for maximum working pressures up to 6 bar at temperatures up to 220 degree Celsius respectively, when for these temperatures suitable special gaskets for hot bitumen are used. The flanges are used for road rank trucks which preferably transport liquid petroleum products.
