Flanges for tank trucks according to this standard are suitable for maximum working pressures up to 10 bar at temperatures up to 110 degree Celsius and for maximum working pressures up to 6 bar at temperatures up to 220 degree Celsius respectively, when for these temperatures suitable special gaskets for hot bitumen are used. These flanges are used for road tank trucks which preferably transport liquid petroleum products.
