The standard describes a chemical-physical method for the determination of 7 metals in drinking-, ground- and surface water by voltammetry. The metal ions are to enrich by adsorption at a dropping mercury electrode. The measured reduktion current is proportional to the concentration of the metal ions in the water sample.
