This standard determines the dimensions of automatic nippel valves with nominal pressure PN = 16 bar which in mining are used to connect up hoses as per DIN 20018 part 1 by using hose clamps for example as per DIN 20033 to pipelines made from steel tubes as per DIN 20002 part 1.
