This standard determines the dimensions of connecting nipples which are used in mining to connect up hoses as per DIN 20018 part 1 to part 3 or DIN 20022 part 2 by using hose clamps for example as per DIN 20033 or DIN 20026 to pipelines made from steel tubes as per DIN 20002 part 1 to part 3.
