The data format established by this standard defines an interface which allows to transfer symbols of mining-specific mapping stored on data carriers to any CAD system. The specifications are based upon the Graphical Kernel System (GKS) as per DIN 66252 part 1. Additional information to the symbols enable the automation of the transfer routine and of the application within the CAD system.
