The document deals with acceptable tolerances for goniochromatic paints, e.g. between a colour sample and its realization, that is the biggest acceptable colour difference between those paints. These tolerances represent those colour differences which are accepted by the majority of observers. A distinction is made between tolerances for the taking of delivered paint products, the different areas or parts of cars after varnishing and the repair varnishing of areas or parts of cars, judged against the original varnish.
