This generic specification in combination with the detail specifications applies for protective conduits, protective sleeves and protective channels, in the following named components. This generic specification includes the general rules requirements and tests, which apply for the respective components. It contains positive informations however only as far as unchanging engineering requirements and test conditions are involved, i.e. properties and provisions that apply to all types of the respective components as well as general procedures, matters of liability, patent law, etc. The detail specification specifies the technical re-quirements and tests applicable for the respective components. If the data of the detail specification differs from those given in the generic specification, the data of detail specification shall prevail.
