This standard specifies dimensions and mechanical properties for middle link chains of grade 2 with pitch t=6d. These chains are mainly used for general spanning purposes and fastening of fenders in harbours. Chains in accordance with this document shall not be used as loading-, sling- or fastening chains as specified in DIN 15003.
