This standard contains basic specifications relative to the layout of railway lines in underground mining. The layout of lines ranks among the determining factors for planning and heading of the line network since the speed of the trains and the wear of tracks and rolling stock are i.a. controlled by the track curves and by the geometrical data of roadway junctions. Furthermore, roadway cross section and rolling stock need to be matched to each other.
