This standard applies to plug B of the electrical plug connection for use on vessels. Plug B according to this standard results with socket outlet A according to DIN 88877 1 in a double-pole plug connection for DC 10 A 24 V. The rated voltage is 50 V AC. Provided that it is used as intended, plugged and screwed or with screwed protection cap, IP 56 protection degree is achieved according to DIN EN 60529. Plug and socket outlet are dimensioned for use with electrical cables and wires with nominal cross-section up to 2,5 mm2.
