This standard is applicable to filter elements, in-built in inline filters and tank top return-line filters, as well as to spin-on filters used in hydraulic systems, except in flying equipment, (hereinafter referred to as filter elements or spin-on filters). This standard lays down the key data for the interchange ability and comparability of filter elements, in a selection series from DIN 24550.
