This standard contains requirements and tests for hoses made of rubber and hose assemblies made of these hoses according which are necessary during the working life to prove and maintain the operational and functional safety. In the following text, reference is made to hose assemblies only, but it also applies to hoses unless otherwise stated. VG 95924 2 applies to hose assemblies for fluid systems, fuels, coolants and air. This standard does not apply to hose assemblies on board aircraft.
