VG 88868:2010-11

This standard is applicable to plug connections with shrouded contacts according to DIN EN 60309-2 (VDE 0623-20) used on vessels. The arrangements stipulated according to DIN EN 60309-2 (VDE 0623-20) of the contact elements have been expanded to include stipulations regarding the position of the protective conductor contact elements in the casing to establish the unique allocation of the plug connections to the power-supply network that is applicable to them. This standard is not applicable to plugs according to VG 88877-1 and sockets according to VG 88877-2 (for DC 24 V, DC 10 A, with concentric contacts).
