VG 96907-2:2011-01

This standard shall apply to systems and equipment to be planned and developed for the German Federal Armed Forces. It defines design measures and protective devices for NEMP and lightning protection in addition to the requirements specified in VG 96907-1, the standards of the series VG 95375 and VG 96376, and the civil standards for the protection against lightning and lightning electromagnetic pulse (standards of the series DIN EN 62305 (VDE 0185-305)) The standard shall assist with realizing required protective measures resulting from an impact analysis according to VG 95374-2. In doing so, it is assumed that the measures necessary to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) have already been taken into account.
