This standard shall apply to systems and equipment to be newly developed or to be newly procured for the Bundeswehr. The fundamentals and advice given in this standard shall assist the developers with assessing appropriate routing of cables/wires on the basis of given wanted and disturbance levels or a specified electromagnetic environment and required coupling attenuation levels. In particular, the fundamentals of cable routing as well as cable categories, cable routing and connection are covered.
