This DIN SPEC describes a method for quantification of impulsive whole-body vibration in relation to health. It applies to exposures with multiple mechanical shocks measured at the interface between a sitting person and the seat or a control lever. The method is suitable for activities in a sitting posture only. The calculation tool including a manual is included on a CD and requires only standard software (spread sheet calculation).
