This standard applies in connection with VG 95343-2 for connector endshells with inner coating, halogen free, low fire hazard, which are used as endshells with electric plug connectors. If the halogen free heat shrinkable connector endshells are used at a ambient temperature greater than 50 °C, then these heat shrinkable connector endshells shall not be used as a strain relief for the assembling of cables and wires. Securing measures according to VG 96927-4.
