VG 96907-1:2013-01

This standard shall apply to systems and equipment to be planned and developed for the German Federal Armed Forces. It defines design measures and protective devices for NEMP and lightning protection in addition to the requirements specified in VG 95375-3 to VG 95375-6, VG 95376-3 to VG 95376-6, and the civil standards for the protection of structures against lightning and lightning electromagnetic pulse (standards of the series VDE 0185 and IEC 61312). The standard shall assist with realizing required protective measures resulting from an impact analysis according to VG 95374-2. In doing so, it is assumed that the measures necessary to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) have already been taken into account to the extent permitted by the actual state of development.
