Annex II of the Regulation (EC) No. 2003/2003 covers tolerance limits for nutrient contents in mineral fertilizers and Annex IV covers analytical methods for control purposes. In the frame of Mandate M/418, this Technical Specification covers a comparison of the results of CEN/TC 260/WG 7 ring tests using the EC-methods with the presently applied tolerances. The document explains to what extent the presently applied tolerances are in line with the obtained precision data from the analytical methods studied and covers conclusions concerning future determination of tolerance limits.
