JIS C 3812:1999 (R2015)

This Standard specifies porcelain line post insulators of tie-top type and clamp-top type, and applies to the following insulators: a) The tip-top type insulators specified in the former JIS, which are specified in this body. b) The tie-top type and clamp-top type line post insulators intended for a.c. overhead lines with a nominal voltage higher than 1 000 V and a frequency not higher than 100 Hz, which are specified in IEC 60720 and in Annex (normative) of this Standard. Either of the specifications stated in this body or those stated in Annex (normative) shall be applied throughout to a product, and it is not allowed to apply the corresponding items and contents in the body and Annex confusedly.
