This standard applies to systems and equipment to be newly developed and to be newly procured for the Bundeswehr. It describes bonding measures to ensure Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). It forms a basis for an uniform bonding method in systems. In addition to EMC concerns, the protection of personnel against electric shock is addressed as far as there are any overlappings.
