JIS C 3810:1999 (R2015)

This Standard specifies normal type and anti-pollution type porcelain and glass suspension insulators mainly used for a.c. overhead lines and this is applicable to the following insulators. a) The porcelain insulators specified in the former JIS. They are specified in the body of this Standard. b) The ceramic or glass insulators for a.c. overhead lines with a nominal voltage above 1000 V and a frequency lower than 100 Hz specified in IEC 60305. They are specified in the annexes (normative) to this Standard. Either of the specifications stated in this body or those stated in Annexes (normative) shall be applied throughout to a product, and it is not allowed to apply the corresponding items and contents from the body and annexes confusedly.
