This guideline is intended for the measurement and judgement of ultrasound in fluids, in cleaning appliances and installations, working with ultrasonic transient cavitation, presumed, they can be used with water or aqueous solutions. This guideline deals with the measurement and judgement of cavitation, but not with its secondary effects (i. E. cleaning result, sonochemistry, s. o.). This guideline deals with the instantaneous measurement of the sound level of cavitation - measurements in time intervals are only used for averaging and not for a dose rate of cavitation.
