This standard is valid with the referred exceptional permission for pressure-water-tight electrical connectors in accordance with DIN EN 60309-1 (VDE 0623-1) with bayonet coupling and crimp contact and leading protective contact electrical connected with the shell and pilot contact in connection with the respective standards of the same VG-number (consecutive parts) and contains the requirements and tests which are the same for these connectors. For this connector the exceptional permission of the Bundesminister der Verteidigung S14-Az 47-04-08/0 dated on 04. June 1984 is valid with the following text: The connectors shall be delivered to the user only in the completely mounted condition. The connectors shall be inserted only on places, where they will not be connected and disconnected more than 500 times during life when operated as authorized. This exceptional permission shall be included in the specification for device (TDV per example). Properties and general regulations which are common for all types of connectors, a.o. questions relating to liability and patent rights are contained in VG 95319-2. These connectors may be connected or dis-connected under voltage when operated as authorized.
