This standard covers electrical connectors with bayonet coupling in connection with the respective standards of the same VG-number (consecutive parts) and contains the require-ments and tests conditions which are the same for these connectors. The contacts operate in the pressure principle way. For the use the regulations according to DIN EN 61984 (VDE 0627) shall be considered. Properties and general regulations which are common for all types of connectors, a.o. data relating to liability and patent rights are contained in VG 95319-2.
