This standard applies to shotcrete which is used for repair and reinforcement of existing structures, for new structures and for securing excavations. It also covers shotcrete for the coating of underground constructions. This standard applies to reinforced normal or lightweight concrete with closed structure according to DIN EN 206-1 mit DIN 1045-2, DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01 mit DIN EN 1992-1-1 (NA), DIN EN 13670 mit DIN 1045-3. This standard contains definitions which enable the use of EN 14487-1 and EN 14487-2 in Germany as well as defining the calculation and constructive formation of structures and shotcrete.
