VG 96938-1:2014-12

This standard is valid in connection with VG 95319-2, VG 96938-2 and VG 96938-3 for ethernet connectors (diagnostic connector) for data transmissions (Category 6a according to DIN EN 50173-1, 250 MHz), shielded, (IP X7), up to 60 V rated voltage. For the use the regulations according to DIN EN 61984 (VDE 0627) shall be considered. When using connectors according to this standard exceeding the specified rated voltages against earth, the protective measures according to DIN EN 61984 (VDE 0627) shall be observed. The protection against electric shock hazard in the unmated condition and during insertion is not ensured. Properties and regulations which are common to all types of components, as well as general implementing regulations, matters of liability and patent rights, etc. are included in VG 95319-2.
