DIN 7865-2:2015-02

This standard applies to Elastomeric-Waterstops with and without for sealing joints in concrete , in which they are cast in whole or in part. It applies to seal against natural water according to DIN 4030-1. This standard does not apply to elastomeric joint tape with fabric inserts or joint tapes made of other materials (eg, TPE, blends with thermoplastics). This standard does not apply joint tape to seal joints (pipe joints) in pipes made of concrete and reinforced concrete pipes. The standard specifies the requirements for the material of the elastomeric joint tape. It gives no evidence of structural engineering application of the elastomeric joint tape. In the application standard DIN 18197 design principles and criteria are defined for joint tape selection.
