VG 95447-4:2015-12

This standard applies to portable multi-purpose equipment housings used by the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). It provides informations for mounting and guidelines for application. Together with VG 95447-2 and VG 95447-8, VG 95447-4 specifies requirements and tests for standard housings with two lids. When specifying the test methods, the requirements of the NATO (STANAG 4370) applicable at the time of the publication of this standard have been taken into account. Since equipment housings often form an integral part of systems, a great deal of special models (e. g. with respect to electrical connectors or air conditioning) are used. However, these special models are based generally on the standard housings of the VG 95447 series.
