DIN 80000:2016-03

This Standard gives guidelines for the compilation of a safety role and a safety plan for passenger vessels of inland navigation. It supports the safety organization on-board. Furthermore it describes essential rules of conduct for passengers on vessels with overnight cabins. DIN 80000 Supplement 1 gives an example for a safety role and a safety plan. The safety role lays down the assignments for the following emergency situations: - maritime accident; - fire on board; - evacuation of the persons from board; - person overboard.
