This Standard applies to boards made from blockboard (letter symbol: ST) and laminboard (letter symbol: STAE) for general use. These boards are normally not subjected to defined elastomechanical requirements. Particular agreements can be taken between manufacturer and user concerning defined lay-ups or defined elastomechanical properties on the basis of this standard and, as appropriate, in consideration of further relevant regulations.
