DIN 11088:2016-05

This document specifies the Tibia method for the selection of release torques for apline ski bindings und gives information necessary for determing the release torque values. This document is applicable to binding test devices with torque measurement according to DIN ISO 11110. This document is not suitable for non-mechanical bindings or bindings used with ski boots reaching above the half of the lower leg. The safety-related equally weight method is sepcified in DIN ISO 8061 and DIN ISO 11088. This document should be read in conjunction with DIN ISO 8061 and DIN ISO 11088. NOTE Annex A shows equations for the calculation of the release torques.
