DIN 55655-6:2017-02

DIN 55655 specifies test methods for electro-deposition paints for automotive industry and general industrial applications. This part of DIN 55655 specifies a method for distinguishing immersion marks as they can occur with electro-deposition paints. These immersion marks can occur in the shape of stripes when dipping the component which is switched as an anode or cathode with applied potential (ratio of voltage and current) into the electro-deposition bath. They appear on the coated objects parallel to the bath surface.
