The definitions described in this standard indicate the rating of corrosion probability of installation parts within buildings whose surface are not exposed or not permanently exposed to aqueous media. As dimension and frequency of the attack by aqueous media are not even anticipated only statements could be given regarding the expected corrosion probabilty. These statements should inform in which way and in which dimension the corrosion occurs and which protection measures are useful or absolutely necessary.
