More info

DIN 19427 specifies requirements, test methods, marking, information supplied by the manufacturer and packaging for personal protective equipment against falls from a height, which is used for securing persons on mobile elevating working platforms to prevent the risk of being catapulted out of these and falling down. DIN 19247 defines personal protective equipment that may be attached to an anchor point within a mobile elevating working platform. Retracting lifelines, lanyards with shock absorbers and guided fall arresters including a flexible anchor line according to this German standard are used as components in a fall arrest system according to DIN EN 363. DIN 19427 describes equipment that will be used in working platforms, which are equipped with sufficiently strong and marked anchor points at a height of no more than 75 cm above the base of the working platform. DIN 19427 does not apply to equipment for retaining in accordance with DIN EN 354 and DIN EN 358.
