DIN 11853-1:2017-08

This standard defines dimensions, designs and materials of hygienic screwed pipe connections with o-ring, short type for butt welding of pipes with dimensions according to DIN 11866 and DIN 11850 series 2. The hygienic screwed pipe connections are designed for the following allowable pressures: outside diameter of pipe from 12,7 mm to 41,0 mm: 4,0 MPa (40 bar); outside diameter of pipe from 42,4 mm to 104,0 mm: 2,5 MPa (25 bar). If used with appropriate materials for the gasket, these pressures in MPa (bar) can be used with temperatures from -10 °C to +140°C.
