DIN 11853-2:2017-08

This standard defines dimensions, design and materials of hygienic flanged pipe connection with o-ring for butt welding of pipes with dimensions according to DIN 11866 and DIN EN 10357 series A. The flanged pipe connections are designed for the following allowable pressures: outside diameter of pipe from 12,7 mm to 41,0 mm: 2,5 MPa (25 bar); outside diameter of pipe from 42,4 mm to 104,0 mm: 1,6 MPa (16 bar); outside diameter of pipe from 114,3 mm to 154,0 mm: 1,0 MPa (10 bar). If used with appropriate materials for the gasket, these pressures in MPa (bar) can be used with temperatures from -10 °C to +140°C.
