This standard is valid for power installations of mobile respectively deployable military applications. The purpose of this standard is to specify a standardized wiring, especially of the connection points and protective measures. This standard is also valid for information and communication technology (I&K-technology) according to DIN VDE 0100-717 (VDE 0100-717):2010-10. The low voltage supply of the information and communication technology shall be separated according to DIN VDE 0100-717 (VDE 0100-717):2010-10, Figure 717.6 with an isolating transformer from the input power supply. The low voltage supply can be made in this way via unchecked grids or generators.
