DIN 7892:2017-11

This standard applies to electrically operated lifting devices whose main drive element is an electric tube motor with a serviceability according to DIN EN 14202. They are designed for guided lifting in storage conditions, holding in storage state and guided lowering in operating condition for halls built in halls, standardized gymnastics and playing field devices (class A). For all other electromotive lifting devices whose main drive element is not an electric tube motor, or a hydraulic or pneumatic motor, as well as for non-guided lifting movements or free-running gymnastics and playing field devices, DIN EN 14492-2:2010-05 (class B ). This standard does not apply to hand-operated lifting devices, such as hand cranked or counterbalancing lifting devices. This standard does not cover any part of the scaffolding of the lifting or safety device, its suspension or its fastening points, any device for setting the device and / or the gymnastics device itself.
