This document applies to systems to be newly developed, to be newly procured or to be contributed. It also applies to the modernization of systems already introduced. The test procedures according to this standard are intended for measuring disturbing voltages of and in systems. The test results can be used for demonstrating compliance with test limits agreed or as a basis for the determination of immunity margins. The test procedures are intended for the determination of disturbing voltages on power supply lines of systems. Disturbing voltages are determined without accessing the cabling. Disturbing voltage measurement is particularly useful in case of complex systems with branched power supply. By means of measurement, those voltages at the branching points are determined which influence in parallel all consumer branches interconnected at the particular branching point.
