This standard specifies a method for the enumeration of aerobic, mesophile microorganisms in food by means of impedance-method. The method includes calibration as the first step, which means the determination of statistical coherences between the impedimetric detection time and bacterial count on plates with a number of equal samples, which are examined by means of impedance-measurement and reference methods. Subsequently the determination of bacterial count is performed by impedance detection.
