This standard applies to the stationary lighting for the useful area including entrance and exit zones on public off-street parking spaces and in public car-parks, which are not subject to a limited number of users. The illumination can be provided by daylight, artificial lighting or a combination of both. This document is not applicable for work places. NOTE In the following, parking spaces and car-parks always refer to public parking spaces and public car-parks. Off-street parking spaces and car-parks are traffic structures; they serve stationary traffic.
