This guideline applies to domestic heating control units and domestic heating distribution systems as defined in DIN 4747-1 which are supplied from a hot-water district heating network via a direct or indirect connection. It does not apply to connections to low- or high-pressure steam networks. The guideline is intended to serve as a planning and design guideline for planners, engineers, supply companies and companies performing the work.
