This standard provides examples and describes the contents of VDI/VDE 3685 Part 1 further. Thus, the variety of different algorithms and numerous applications are clarified. Therefore, Section 5 illustrates the different structures in form of block diagrams. Section 6 of the standard demonstrates the handling of the list of characteristic properties for characterisation of various adaptive control methods presented in literature.
