JIS B 8331:2002 (R2016)

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies V-belt driven and motor direct driven centrifugal forward-curved bladed fans, which have size from 160 mm to 1600 mm in blade outer diameter and are mainly used for the ventilation and air conditioning of buildings. However, this Standard does not apply to fans with a silencer box, and those fans incorporated in package type air conditioners, fan-coil units and the like are excluded. In addition, the gas handled by the fans shall be air at a temperature from -15 degree C to +40 degree C.
