This section of JIS C 5402-11 is to define a standard test method to assess the ability of components to function in a specified manner, during and after subjection to the conditions which prevail to some extent everywhere in an aircraft during ascent and descent, but which are particularly severe in unheated and/or unpressurized zones. This test may also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification.
